Always use safe stretching technique.

Start on your hands and knees.  First raise your back up like a cat as high as possible.   Take slow deep breaths and hold for 15 to 30 seconds.  Then rock back and sit on the bent knees with arms extended and the head tucked in.   Take slow deep breaths and hold for 15 to 30 seconds.

Low back stretches are important as they stretch both the hamstings and the low back.
